Bringardner Injury Law Firm recently partnered with Mothers Against Drunk Driving to co-sponsor the first annual MADD South Carolina Law Enforcement Recognition Dinner. The banquet and award ceremony was held in Charleston, South Carolina on July 15th, 2022 to express appreciation for the law enforcement members, criminal prosecutors, state agencies, victim advocates and volunteer organizations protecting the community from the tragedies of DUI accidents.
The South Carolina MADDY Awards were handed out to over twenty individuals and groups for their achievements during 2021. Bringardner Injury Law Firm was proud to sponsor the MADD Compassionate Hero of the Year, Drug Recognition Expert of the Year, and Barry Barnette DUI Prosecutor of the Year awards.
Also, included in the award winner list were the top 10 DUI enforcers among local police agencies and the SC Highway Patrol. Several heroic troopers, first responders, and organizations received recognition. Two lifetime achievement awards were also presented.
The event took place within a two-day free training symposium for officers about cases of driving under the influence.
